The Most Read Contributions in 2018 Published in European Papers – A Journal on Law and Integration

Printer-friendly version

The titles listed below are the top ten most read pieces in 2018, respectively from the Journal and from the Forum. In our view, the value of these lists is merely statistical. They identify the topics that have drawn most attention in the year that is about to expire. Unsurprisingly, issues such as immigration, Euro crisis, data protection, represent the lion’s share. But the attention of our readers has also been captured by other issues, not less relevant for the process of the European integration, such as mutual trust, the autonomy of the European legal order, the perennial dispute on supremacy and its limits, the relations between EU law and international law.

The variety of the topics covered, their relevance for the process of European integration, the cultural and the linguistic diversity of the pieces, witness the enduring validity of our project and prompt our renewed commitment to fulfil it.

We express our gratitude to all our readers and our contributors for accompanying us in this adventurous intellectual journey.
